The decision at the heart of it
Posting a card gives your partner future power but leaves your team responsible for clearing it. Balance support with the lead you need now.
Passing can prepare your partner's next big play.
Two teams of two face a rising card total. On your turn, play one hand card and optionally add one card from your partner’s public support rail. The sum must beat the current volume. On an open climb, you may instead pass and optionally post a hand card onto your own rail for your partner to use later. A new climb must open with a play.
A posted card cannot return to your hand or be played by you. Your partner must spend it, so empty hands alone do not finish the deal: the winning team clears both hands and both rails. A player with an empty hand can still play partner support on its own.
Three consecutive passes reset the climb. Over two deals, score the number of cards the opposing team still holds, including its rails. Balance the lead, the rising volume and the help your partner can actually use.
How a game unfolds
- Play one hand card, optionally adding one card from your partner’s rail, to beat the current total.
- On an open climb, pass or post a hand card for your partner to use later.
- Clear both partners’ hands and rails, then score the opposing cards left over across two deals.
At the table
Exactly four seats form two teams. Play offline with a bot partner and two bot opponents, share one device with other players, or form a private invite room online. Bots can fill remaining seats. Offline matches save on this device.
