The decision at the heart of it

You control the links your creatures give, while rivals control their support. Decide when to maintain a useful cycle or change it for the next Moon.

Every creature offers something and needs something else. A useful link can help two players for different reasons.

Care for three species, each with two behavior faces. Welcome a new species from the market, change an existing behavior, or keep your community as it is. Then edit up to two of your outgoing links, connecting an offer of Light, Refuge or Nourishment to a compatible need.

Feed your species through incoming links and build directed cycles that include another player's community. The three announced Moons favor different needs at the scoring events, so a successful arrangement may need to change later.

You control your own outgoing links, while other players control the support they give you. Across six rounds, cultivate reciprocal connections without assuming every favor will last.

How a game unfolds

  1. Keep, change or replace a creature in your three-card garden.
  2. Set up to two outgoing links from your creatures to compatible needs.
  3. Score fed creatures, cycles involving different owners and the announced Moon’s favored need.
