The decision at the heart of it

Both evidence panels are true, but only one becomes public. Decide what to reveal and when to commit your subject, location and time.

A photograph has a subject, a location and a time. You see evidence that the others do not.

Investigate a paired evidence card each round. Both panels are truthful, but you choose just one to publish. The other stays private, leaving you to decide which information helps the table and which information preserves your advantage.

Use public clues and your private panels to narrow twenty-seven possible photographs. Then seal any conclusions you are ready to commit: the subject, the location, the time, or a combination. Correct early answers earn more; an incorrect commitment loses points and cannot be revised.

After three rounds, every part must be answered unless everyone has already finished. Track the possibilities in your private notebook and choose when your evidence is strong enough to take the risk.

How a game unfolds

  1. Read both panels of your evidence card and publish one.
  2. Combine public clues with your private panels to narrow the possible photographs.
  3. Seal conclusions when ready: correct early answers earn more, while wrong answers lose points.
