The decision at the heart of it
Winning gives you route control, but your winning card cannot deliver itself. Help the team with the right losing letter or the right next stop.
Winning the trick is only the start of a delivery.
Follow suit in an eight-trick cooperative card game. The highest card in the led suit wins, and that player chooses the courier's next stop from any rank played in the trick. The route between the old and new stops determines which losing cards become delivered letters.
Every suit has a delivery quota. A winning card cannot deliver itself, so taking control and contributing a useful letter are different jobs. Long journeys spend the team's limited shelters; plan too many and a whiteout can end the route.
Use a limited public card pin and preset intentions to coordinate without revealing your entire hand. Meet all four quotas together before the eighth trick ends.
How a game unfolds
- Play a card, following the led suit when you can.
- Let the trick winner choose a destination from the ranks played.
- Deliver eligible losing cards along that route and meet every suit’s quota before shelters or tricks run out.
